WHOMAG Distribution is owned by Rob Schwartz, CEO of WHOMAG Multimedia, LLC. Rob also owns iFame TV (independent music TV network airing on ROKU, Yamgo, SPB TV, FilmOn, Tuff TV, Primetime TV, and more), WHO?MAG TV (largest independent hip-hop/R&B TV show airing worldwide), DMTV (independent EDM TV show airing worldwide), as well as their respective sites.
Rob previously worked at ILS Distribution through PolyGram Records and helped distribute Jay-Z’s first single (“In My Lifetime”), Doug E. Fresh, Gang Starr, Jeru the Damaja, Beenie Man, and many other titles. After working with many independent artists to help grow their exposure through his TV networks and showcases, Rob took his distribution knowledge to help create WHOMAG Distribution to help launch a new platform for independent artist who wanted a major artist reach.
“There are a few ‘do-it-yourself’ distribution outlets that indie artists use, but due to their limited reach and repetitive fees, the artists get frustrated pretty quickly. Although we are selective who we choose to distribute, we do help propel our artists by the use of our outlets to get them the maximum reach”, says CEO/Founder Rob Schwartz.
